NDM: Audience and institution

Firstly, the two side in discussion here are of course Audience and institution these are both in question because in the past 2 decade the digital age has increasingly, changed meaning that both the audiences and institution have also evolved at the same rate which has overall made them related. 
    
1) What was the relationship between institutions and audiences in the pre-digital age?The two concepts are inseparably connected within the magzine it sates under severe political strain and that digitally-mediated direct representation could provide a basis for a more dialogical and deliberative democracy in place of the dialogue of the deaf which tends to characterise contemporary political representation.

2) What is the definition of a mass audience? Give an example of a media product or institution aimed at a mass audience. The mass media is a diversified collection of media technologies that reach a large audience via mass communication. The technologies through which this communication takes place include a variety of outlets.
Broadcast media transmit information electronically, via such media as filmradio, recorded music, or televisionDigital media comprises both Internet and mobile mass communication. Internet media comprise such services as emailsocial media sites, websites, and Internet-based radio and television. 

3) What is the definition of a niche audience? Give an example of a media product or institution aimed at a niche audience.The market niche defines as the product features aimed at satisfying specific market needs, as well as the price range, production quality and the demographics that is intended to impact. It is also a small market segment. ... Every product can be defined by its market niche.

4) How has digitisation changed the distribution of information and media products in the music, television and news industries?

5) How have developments in new and digital media helped make audiences active rather than passive?

6) Provide specific examples of how audiences are now active in the music, news and film industries.

7) List THREE arguments that suggest the increasing power of audiences is a bad thing.
